
The vanity project will continue — fortunately or unfortunately — it’s hard to convey painfully learned lessons in a few words without them sounding like platitudes. I’m not sure why I took so many photos of myself during that year, but when I see these photos, I am immediately reminded of what I was thinking at the moment the picture was taken and the corrections, revisions or, occasionally, confirmations of what I was thinking that I enjoy in my relative place of safety.
I may fail at my half-baked intentions but I might as well keep at it because I have no better ideas at the moment.
